How to speak at Wasco City Council meetings

How long can I speak?

Two minutes per speaker, subject to change by the presiding officer. Individuals who use a translator get twice the time. General public comment is limited to 30 minutes, starting with in-person speakers.

How can I comment?

In person, on Zoom using the Raise Hand feature, or by phone: dial 1-669-444-9171 with the meeting ID on the agenda, press *9 to raise your hand and *6 to unmute when called.

Can I comment on New Business items?

Yes. The public may speak for up to 2 minutes on each New Business item as it is taken up.
